US 30 Corridor / Flaugh Road

Project Location
US 30 at Flaugh Rd. in Fort Wayne, Indiana, from 1.55 miles west of US 33, at Flaugh Rd.
Project Description
An interchange will be created on US 30 at either Kroemer of Flaugh Road. Additionally, intersections with US 30 on O’Day Road, Stahlhut Road, Kroemer Road, Flaugh Road, and Felger/Leesburg Road will be analyzed.
On West California Road/Flaugh Road West California Road/Kroemer Road, roundabouts will be added. Kroemer road will undergo construction to only allow right turns at the intersection of US 30 and Kroemer Rd in both directions.
Construction on US 30 at O’Day Road will no longer access US 30, instead an overpass will replace the intersection. Construction on US 30 at Stahlhut Road will close the intersection and be replaced with cul-de-sacs.
Project Background & Purpose
The project will improve safety and congestion along US 30 by reducing access to the highway to increase free flowing traffic.
Project Status
Currently in design phase. Studies should be completed by Summer 2024.
Road construction will begin 2025-2026
